“Beautiful hotel for a perfect relaxation!“ – December 2023

Beautiful swimming pool on the seafront, impeccable services and always helpful staff. very often on Saturday there is also a show with a very good local acrobat company! An ideal stay for those who want to relax in total comfort. The power outlets in the rooms are European type (c) so very convenient for tourists coming from Europe.

Really amazing vibe and brilliant value for money. Has all the niceties you hope for: air-conditioning with a ceiling fan too, lovely breakfast, comfy bed. The staff are what makes this place really exceptional though! They all consistently went above and beyond: they repaired a broken book I had very carefully with tape, found me a unique travel adaptor (I needed an Australian input, which is always annoying!) and one amazing waitress even lent me 5000TSH from her own wallet to pay the remainder of my taxi fair given I didn’t have the right change at the time (repaid of course, but so thoughtful)! Like, wow! A very special shout-out to Rachel the waitress who was always so hospitable and felt more like a lovely friend looking out for me whilst I was otherwise travelling solo—an absolute gem, although I could mention many others!

Great accommodation in the “sand”. Apart from the room, you only move around in the sand, shoes are superfluous :-). Very good and plentiful breakfast with a selection of egg dishes. Very nice pool area. The sea with an impressive high and low tide with very different colours and very warm water.

“Barefoot understated luxury on a beautiful stretch of beach“ – December 2023

Was made to feel at home and relaxed by all the friendly staff. Loved the soft white beach sand all the way from your room right through to the bar and restaurant, giving it a real barefoot feel at all times. The whole place has an understated boutique hotel feel, with good background music through the day and early evenings, but never overly party vibes, and was more geared towards adults couples or friend groups, which we really loved instead of bigger resorts full of families and kids.

The beachfront location, the large pool with loungers well spaced out. The best breakfast I had during my stay with its diversity. The restaurant is very good. And in addition Saturday night barbecue party and show zanzibarien proposed at the top! Very attentive staff!

During our New Year’s Eve stay in Zanzibar, The Loop stood out for its lovely pool and excellent service. The massage I received here was a highlight, offering incredible value for money. The food was delicious, adding to the already pleasant ambiance. The staff, always kind and helpful, made our experience even more memorable. I can not wait to come back!

“Amazing & Beautiful“ –  January 2024

The rooms are basic but clean – they are cleaned daily. Every day there is also a towel animal. :-) Since the hotel is a barefoot hotel, which we think is great, there is a bowl of water in front of the room. The bowl is also cleaned every day. The beach is beautiful and not crowded white and incredibly soft sand. At low tide we would recommend to anyone bathing shoes, as there are many sea urchins further out. 15 minutes on foot to the right is a beautiful sandbank (at low tide), but also at high tide it is fantastically beautiful there. Be sure to get coconuts from the palm trees from Makame (Mr. Coconut). We also booked a tour with him with a local boat (dhaw) – just great. He is always happy and in a good mood. And the water is crystal clear. Breakfast at the hotel is excellent. Good selection of sweets, fresh fruit, egg dishes, coffee, tea. What more could you want than to sit barefoot under the palm trees with a good breakfast? :-) I would like to highlight the entire staff. We have never been welcomed and welcomed as much as in Tanzania or Zanzibar. All in all, a beautiful unforgettable holiday. :-)
