Jafferji Beach Retreat is a Swahili-inspired retreat on Matemwe Beach, just 50 minutes from Zanzibar Town (Stone Town). Overlooking the Indian Ocean and Mnemba Island, the retreat offers 14 spacious rooms influenced by Arabic, Indian and African design.

Located in the village of Kigomani, guests can relax by the pool, stroll along the sandy beach or simply unwind. With views of the ocean and a peaceful setting, Jafferji Beach Retreat offers a place to unwind and experience the rich culture of Zanzibar.

Intimate and welcoming, always attentive and helpful staff, all coordinated by Manager Maurizio who with his passion and his philosophy of hospitality makes everything really special.     Everything was just perfect here: the location, facilities, staff, super fresh (sea)food, atmosphere, the pool, the pergola shades with sunbeds, outside shower and (last but not least) the beach. Very quiet place too. Free wifi everywhere, towels for the sunbeds, drinks served at the pool, you name it. If we make it back to Zanzibar we will for sure come back here.
