“Chic African Vibes at Mwezi: 5 Stars All the Way!“ – January 2023

Mwezi Resort was my recent happy place, and let me tell you, it’s got some serious cool vibes. The bungalows? Think African chic – stylish and comfy. The whole joint? Super clean and well-kept, giving off good vibes from every corner. Now, the food game at Mwezi is on point. They’ve got this rad restaurant with poolside and à la carte menus. Salads, pasta, local goodies, and the freshest seafood – you name it, they’ve got it. The tartare? Mind-blowing. And let’s not forget the awesome crew. The staff at Mwezi are like your buddies, always ready to make your stay epic. Smiles, good vibes, and they know their stuff. In a nutshell, Mwezi Resort is the place to be for that African escape with flair. Bungalows, food, and staff – it’s a solid 5 stars from me.

“Karibu Sana” – December 2023

We chose Fun Beach Hotel for our honeymoon :) and had an amazing holiday! The hotel is beautiful, our bungalow was perfect with the terrace / hammock area. Thank you to Rachel, Jeneroza, Dubu, Margaret, Faisal, Omar, Elias, Fred Felix, Pascc, Ali, Ismael and all the others whose names have been forgotten but we will never forget!! You made our stay unforgettable: smiling, caring, warm, attentive :) Special mention for delicious food and impeccable service :) The excursions offered are ok in terms of price, the one we preferred was the boat day from Kizimkazi :) The Safari beer / Mai Tai Passion/Red Double Label by the pool. we are already missing! Thanks again for everything, hoping to come back one day :) The happy people room number 4

“Amazing & Beautiful“ –  January 2024

The rooms are basic but clean – they are cleaned daily. Every day there is also a towel animal. :-) Since the hotel is a barefoot hotel, which we think is great, there is a bowl of water in front of the room. The bowl is also cleaned every day. The beach is beautiful and not crowded white and incredibly soft sand. At low tide we would recommend to anyone bathing shoes, as there are many sea urchins further out. 15 minutes on foot to the right is a beautiful sandbank (at low tide), but also at high tide it is fantastically beautiful there. Be sure to get coconuts from the palm trees from Makame (Mr. Coconut). We also booked a tour with him with a local boat (dhaw) – just great. He is always happy and in a good mood. And the water is crystal clear. Breakfast at the hotel is excellent. Good selection of sweets, fresh fruit, egg dishes, coffee, tea. What more could you want than to sit barefoot under the palm trees with a good breakfast? :-) I would like to highlight the entire staff. We have never been welcomed and welcomed as much as in Tanzania or Zanzibar. All in all, a beautiful unforgettable holiday. :-)

“Exceptional” – December 2023

A beautiful, well-kept hotel, with unlimited water and the possibility of shopping without leaving the facility (you could leave your shopping list at the reception and receive fruit, vegetables, beer in your room – at quite good prices). The breakfasts are very rich. In addition to the buffet with sweets, rolls, donuts and crosaints, you can order meals from the menu. Atmospheric swimming pools surrounded by palm trees and MEEEEGA service, I really remember this stay fondly

Very nice and clean hotel in a very beautiful area at Jambiani beach. The poolside was beautiful. Every single room has a view towards it and the room was very big with a nice outside chill-area. The hotel is directly at the beach. The tides are very strong but made it very special and beautiful to us. When there is low-tide you can take a beautiful walk at the beach but you‘ll always find a place to go in the ocean. Swimming while high-tide was very fun; so we enjoyed the beachside a lot! The stuff was very very friendly and did its best to fulfill every request. Every day you get a little lunch snack for free and for dinner you also get an appetizer for free. Very kind attention which we appreciated a lot. We enjoyed our stay here very much and would be happy to visit Casa Del Mar again.

Exceeded expectations, a perfect place to disconnect! Clean, cozy rooms and a beautiful, small hotel complex. You can stay here for a while. The staff were super friendly and attentive. The adjacent beach had warm, clear water and if you didn’t swim too far out, you could swim without the risk of sea urchins. Delicious, fresh breakfast buffet. A large selection of fresh fruit and various treats. Small buffet platters and it gave the impression that little had to be thrown away. Very large portions of food a la carte at fair prices. All dishes were delicious and lovingly prepared. Bonus: The fresh juices and cocktails.
