The hostess Paola is just great. She helped us arrange tours to Stone Town and helped us with rides and pick up. Just great. In general, all the staff there are really nice and accommodating. We also took advantage of the laundry service with thanks. The residence is very nice. The houses and the whole area are lovingly furnished and very clean. The two pools are a good size. We liked it very much. -

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mwezi Boutique Resort for 3 nights after a 11-day safari, and it was an absolutely delightful experience! The resort has a serene atmosphere.
The accommodations were stylish and comfortable, offering all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay. It felt like a true retreat. The staff at Mwezi Boutique Resort were exceptional—friendly, attentive, and always eager to help. Special shout out to the girls working at the spa. Swahili Night was also great. Whether lounging by the pool or enjoying a meal on the terrace, I felt completely at ease. Overall, I highly recommend Mwezi Boutique Resort for anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway. -

“Wow, just wow!” – September 2024
Wow, just wow! Elga and her incredible staff really created a little paradise on earth. They went above and beyond to make this our perfect getaway from the daily ratrace. We stayed in the garden suite which was just incredible, decorated beautifully and spacious. Since it’s a small boutique hotel you really have the idea that the villa is there solely for you, with a lot of privacy in the beautiful garden. We already want to go back! Tim & Nathalie

“Perfection” – January 2025
Incredible. One of the best reception/entry that I’ve seen in the island. Everything looked the same even better than the pictures. I was travelling alone and got a double room with a balcony with on the pool. I was super excited to see that the front door, to my room, was giving me a direct view to the beach and the ocean. The food, buffet in the mornings, menu for lunch and dinner, the staff, the room, everything was perfect !!! Being greeted every time with a smile from the cleaners to the cook or reception staff made my day. This hotel was recommended to me by friends and I do not regret following their advices !!! And thanks to them, they gave a weekly calendar of all the parties in the area and it was super useful !!!

“Like a Hemingway novel or a Picasso painting.” – September 2024
An indescribable place that no photo can do justice to. Like a Hemingway novel or a Picasso painting. Martin and his staff have a deep warmth and hospitality, always approachable and always attentive. The cuisine is varied and always helpful and flexible, even with special requests. We had the Villa Sultan with two private pools, and since we had visitors, a second extra bed was put in our room without any fuss. Thank you very much for the wonderful time.

Rustic, charming, beautiful decor, attention to cleanliness.. polite, kind management and staff always on hand but not in your way.. loft above dining/lounge has the most incredible views and a lovely place to relax. Pool is spotless. A really well maintained property. Quiet and relaxing. If you want loud music and activities this is not the place for you. The quietness is almost unnerving initially until you start appreciating the sounds of nature and the ocean. Please walk out at low tide to the reef. It is like a mini ocean in itself you can swim in. Room is small but not cramped and comfortable. Such a special property. I was sad to leave. Feels a little like stepping back in time.

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and the friendliest staff who truly go above and beyond to make you feel at home. 💕 Whether it was recommendations for the best spots in town or their quick service at any hour, they made every moment special. Margaret and her team are excellent. Douglas was also amazing.
The rooms? Immaculate and beautifully designed with stunning ocean views – waking up to the sound of waves was a dream! 🏖️ And don’t even get me started on the food – fresh, delicious, and so many options to choose from. 🍹🍤 the waiting staff are all brilliant Ismael was very good and was very warm and welcoming. The Chef Phil was excellent.
But what really stood out? The vibe! The hotel radiates fun and relaxation, perfect for couples, families, or solo travelers. 🏄♂️🎉 Whether you’re lounging by the pool, sipping cocktails on the beach, or joining them in the evening, there’s something for everyone.
I can’t recommend Fun Beach Hotel enough – if you’re planning your next holiday, this is the spot. Trust me, you won’t want to leave! 😍✨
